What’s the difference between Essential, Plus, and Elite?
Essential watches your system (monitoring, alerts, support, 10% off labor). Plus adds inspections, faster scheduling, and deeper discounts. Elite is full protection for homeowners — biggest labor discounts, manufacturer-level parts pricing on work we do, a $500/year labor service credit (parts not included), and optional free Critter Guard.
How does the Critter Guard credit work at $7 per linear foot?
Elite with the promo includes up to $1,500 of Critter Guard at $7/lf (~214 lf). Example: 180 lf × $7 = $1,260 — covered under the credit, so you owe $0 for that footage. Footage (or steep-roof adders) above $1,500 is billed to you. Credit has no cash value.
Why am I “ahead” on Elite?
18 months of Elite is $1,080. Buying Critter Guard alone can run about $1,500 at $7/lf. With Elite you’re about $420 ahead vs Guard alone — plus monitoring, discounts, and service credit. After 18 months the guards stay on the home.
Do I have to take the free Critter Guard?
No. On the Plans page you can turn the Critter Guard promo off. Elite without Guard is month-to-month — cancel anytime. Taking the free Guard locks in the 18-month Elite term and the early-exit fee schedule in Terms.
What if I cancel early after the Guard is installed?
Cancel by phone or email (not self-serve for Guard promos). Fees by how long you’ve had it installed: months 1–6 = unearned portion of the $1,500 credit; 7–12 = $500 flat; 13–18 = $200 flat; after 18 = $0. Cancel before install and there’s no Critter Guard exit fee.
What if I sell the house?
No transfer fee. The new owner can pick up Elite where you left off (remaining commitment and install clock continue). Contact us to move billing over.
How fast do you install Critter Guard?
We aim for about 7 days after signup and first successful payment, weather and roof access permitting.
What if there’s already pest damage?
You can sign up on the spot and apply Critter Guard credit toward agreed barrier work, and use your Elite $500 labor service credit where it fits. Parts are never included in the service credit.
What does the $500 service credit cover?
It’s a credit toward PVGuys labor only — diagnostics, service visits, cleaning labor, repair labor we perform, etc. Parts, materials, equipment, permits, and third-party fees are not included and are billed separately.
Can I upgrade from Plus to Elite later?
Yes. Upgrade anytime. If you take Critter Guard, the promo and 18-month clock start when Elite with promo begins (not backdated to Plus). Stripe may prorate the plan change.
How do I cancel Essential or Plus?
Month-to-month plans can cancel anytime in the Stripe customer portal after signup, or by calling/emailing us. Elite with Critter Guard must cancel by phone or email per Terms.
I got a one-time Guard quote elsewhere for less. Why Elite?
A one-time Guard is only the barrier. Elite spreads cost over $1,080, includes the Guard credit, and adds monitoring, labor discounts, warranty help, and $500/year labor credit — without a huge upfront bill.
What’s the door-sales promo code?
Ask your PVGuys rep. At Stripe Checkout enter DOOR1 for the first month free. The 18-month commitment (if you take Critter Guard) still starts at signup.
